About

Encima de la Colina

“On Top of the Hill”

This project’s name is more than a literal description—it captures the essence of the property itself. Perched at one of the highest points in Paradise Valley, Encima embodies a rare vantage point where architecture, landscape, and horizon converge. From this elevation, the home is not simply situated on the land, but rises above it—offering uninterrupted views, privacy, and a sense of quiet distinction.

Philanthropy

Encima de la Colina”—On Top of the Hill—speaks not only to the home’s commanding position above the Valley, but to a deeper sense of elevation in purpose. It reflects a journey defined by vision, discipline, and intention—rising above the ordinary to create something lasting and meaningful. Just as the home stands at its physical peak, it symbolizes a broader ascent: a commitment to impact, to thoughtful creation, and to a legacy that extends beyond the structure itself. Here, elevation is not simply where you are—it is what you stand for.

While the home was originally envisioned as a personal residence for the developer, Bob Murray, and his wife, Edit Murray. Encima will now serve as a base for the Murray Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Longtime philanthropists, the Murrays have contributed millions to local, national, and international causes over the past two decades. Through this gift, they aim to significantly expand their impact—doubling their annual charitable contributions.

Property

Encima is a 6,600 sq ft, two story architectural masterpiece. On the upper level, the main living area and the master suite have glass walls providing 360 degree uninterrupted views.

There is nothing higher in the entire valley to the south, and few if any homes in Paradise Valley offer its privileged location. The lower level offers three additional bedrooms, a gym and a home theater, served by an elevator. An infinity edge pool, an outdoor entertainment area and a Zen garden complete the estate. Energy efficient and carefully built with utmost care, Encima is an unequalled modern masterpiece.
